About

Jennifer Bonds Cabrera is a native Houstonian. She began her career at an AmLaw Top 100 firm where she practiced commercial litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and civil appellate law. She has represented clients in a wide array of cases involving complex business disputes, dangerous and defective products, premises liability, family law, and more. She's been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, Houstonia Magazine Top Lawyer, and National Trial Lawyer Top 40 Under 40. Her current practice focuses on complex legal issues and civil appeals. She is also the instructor for the University of Houston Downtown’s Paralegal Certificate Program.

Jennifer founded Bonds Cabrera PLLC to provide exceptional legal solutions in a streamlined, targeted manner. Jennifer works directly with clients or in conjunction with trial attorneys on civil appeals, major motions, and trial strategy, focusing her efforts on clear legal writing and sound oral arguments.

While in law school, Jennifer competed as part of the nationally-renowned advocacy program at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, where she won regional, state, and national championships on behalf of her school.

Jennifer and her husband Manny are members of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Parish in Cypress, Texas. In their free time, they enjoy watching Astros baseball and spending time with their two sons, Charlie and Max.
